Working with Creative Studio Pretty-Soon® we built a versatile and contemporary brand identity for Perth Festivals 2022 contemporary music program. The challenge was to build a contemporary brand that align to the festival master brand, yet was strong enough to stand on its own. Drawing from the master brand story of Bilya flowing into Wardan (the connection between the Swan River and the Indian Ocean) we developed a graphic system built on a 3D form that mimics the flow of water. Utilising tension in variation, layout and a vibrant colour palette results in a strong visual aesthetic, with a refined balance.
